Intersex Nigeria was established on November 25th, 2019, by Obioma Chukwuike, in response to the critical need for dedicated support, advocacy, and visibility for intersex persons in Nigeria. The organization was born out of a recognition of the systemic challenges and societal stigmas faced by the intersex community.
