Katie Couric's "Gender Revolution" documentary debuts on National Geographic Channel

interACT and its then-Board President, Dr. Georgiann Davis, a sociologist, consulted on Gender Revolution. The series featured the Lohman family, advocate-parents of a child with Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH), and activist Pidgeon Pagonis. Versions of the material appeared in both a televised documentary special and National Geographic magazine cover story.

Advocates hoped the print magazine's global circulation of 6.7 million would bring awareness to the issue of childhood genital surgeries.
