On Intersex Awareness Day of 2021, the Biden-Harris administration hosted a roundtable listening session. Intersex advocates from across the United States shared stories, resources, and policy recommendations.

A later Biden administration Executive Order included "Intersex" in its title and called for the creation of a new report on intersex health equity.
