Intersex Futures Beyond Law and Medicine
We've been thinking 🧠—not just about how anti-trans bills keep forced surgeries on intersex kids going, but about how to make things better without throwing anyone under the bus. 🚫 🚍 🚫 From law, to medicine, to the arts, and beyond, this group uses a fresh range of tactics to fight for bodily autonomy. Why do campaigns to criminalize transgender healthcare steal language from intersex organizers? What developments are we seeing in our policy, medicine, youth, and arts work in support of intersex people? How can we build stronger connections across movements for queer, trans, racial, and reproductive justice? Where do we want to build out from here?

Event Recap
Five panelists and registrants from 21 countries came together to discuss intersex changemaking work. We began with an embodiment practice led by Saifa, based on his study of generative somatics. The conversation shifted to intersex anger, with panelists reflecting their latest experiences across medicine, policy work, communications, and the arts. Gloria Delgadillo and patri gonzález ramírez provided live English to Spanish interpretation.
